Saule Boshchanova

Saule Boshchanova is Chief Economist at Leopard Invest, leading budgeting, cost control and economic analysis as the group develops its projects.

She was previously an economist at Kazakhmys Smelting, preparing annual and monthly budgets with supporting calculations, monitoring spend by line item and cost centre, and analysing variances against plan. Before that she served as Chief Economist at the Zhezkazgan Medical Center, directing planning, costing standards, economic efficiency analysis and management reporting.

Her earlier career spans economic planning at Kazakhmys Maker and a decade inside Corporation Kazakhmys in accounting and technical translation roles. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and audit from the Kazakh Engineering and Technical Academy and a degree in physics from Zhezkazgan Baikonurov University, and works fluently in Kazakh and Russian.
