Dmitry Gille

Dmitry Gille is Chief Specialist in the Hydrometallurgy Development Department within the Technical Development Directorate of Corporation Kazakhmys, and has spent his career building and commissioning heavy industrial plant.

He served as Chief Engineer of the directorate constructing the pilot hydrometallurgical processing plant for crude copper concentrates, and had been part of that project group since 2017 — as engineer, group head and then chief engineer — through design, construction and start-up.

His earlier career at the Zhezkazgantsvetmet division of Kazakhmys spanned two decades of installation and repair of lifting and transport equipment, steel structures, process piping and process equipment at operating mining, concentrating and metallurgical plants. He holds an engineering degree in power supply from O.A. Baikonurov Zhezkazgan University.
