Irina Aleksandrova

Irina Aleksandrova leads the laboratory at the Leopard Invest R&D Center, responsible for analytical methods, data quality and the reporting that supports process development across the platform.

She previously headed the laboratory at OGMZ, part of Kazakhmys Smelting, and spent nearly a decade at KazHydroMed as chemical engineer and lead chemical engineer, supporting hydrometallurgical research programmes. Earlier roles span environmental monitoring at Kazhydromet and analytical chemistry in industrial and processing laboratories.

A chemistry graduate of Karaganda Buketov University with analytical chemistry training from Temirtau Chemical-Mechanical Technical College, she is qualified across atomic absorption and fluorescence spectrometry, ion and liquid chromatography, X-ray fluorescence and diffraction, and microwave sample preparation, and works to ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory competence requirements, including international training in Germany.
